Full period review for final exam. LAST DAY OF CLASSES. Exams start tomorrow.
Today is our last day of learning for the course content. We will be wrapping up our work on standing waves and resonance and also starting a review package. This review will be helpful for the exam as well since we do not have time to have a formal test in this unit.
Today is a wrap up day dealing with standing waves and then we will start extending this learning to the concept and phenomenon of resonance.
What are standing waves and how do they form? The applet below is a great tool for understanding how standing waves are formed when periodic waves reflect back and interfere (constructively and destructively) with themselves; the result is a standing wave.
Today we are finishing our work related to the Doppler Effect. You must have all of the questions completed by the end of the period today.
