Today is an introduction into the wonders of waves and sound. We are going to learn about the many different types of waves that exist, how they move, what characteristics they have, how they behave at boundaries, how the carry energy, etc. Waves are all around us and understanding the basic properties of them is crucial to understanding so many things in science, nature and ultimately our universe!

We are continuing our work with the thermal energy package. See the previous day for important downloads and videos, etc.
Today we are extending our understanding of energy conservation and energy transformation to thermal energy and heat. Thermal Energy & Heat EnergyDownload the reading activity (textbook pages) or use the textbook in the classroom. It has information about the notes you should take about heat energy and thermal energy transfer.
Power Output of StudentsToday we are working on a series of power and energy activities.
